Fawn Handmade Launch Party!

Here are a few photos from the Fawn Handmade launch party earlier this month!

As Eloise would say, Merry Christmas Eve, Eve!!

Fawn Handmade

On December 1st, I launched my handmade stationery and frame company, Fawn Handmade!

I had been working on the prototypes, designs, and packaging for these since last summer, and am very excited to finally have the online store open!

The Concept:

Fawn Handmade’s superior focus is to provide unique, quality handmade products that inspire smiles, and encourage happiness, while having the mission to make a positive difference in others’ lives.

How Fawn Handmade Gives Back:

With the purchase of any stationery product, Fawn Handmade donates $1 to Clothes4Souls, a nonprofit organization that sends clothing to those in need all over the world. To learn more about Clothes4Souls, visit: www.clothes4souls.org.

Additionally, with the purchase of any wooden frame, Fawn Handmade donates $1 to The Pablove Foundation in support of the Pablove Shutterbugs program. Pablove Shutterbugs teaches children living with cancer to develop their creative voice through the art of photography. To learn more about Pablove Shutterbugs visit: pablove.org/shutterbugs.

Check them out!

Not only do they make for wonderful gifts, but you will also be making a difference with your purchase.

…‘Tis the season to give, and be thankful. Happy Holidays!!

Wishlist Wednesday: Vintage Décor

Here are some vintage home décor items that are pretty shnazzy:

Embroidered Mid Century Chrome Dining Chair from midcenturysidney on Etsy, Vintage Glass Chemist Bottles from GoodNorth on Etsy,  Mid Century Modern Coffee Table from studio1212furniture on Etsy, Set of Four Vintage Floral Mod Napkins from LingonberriesAndMoss on Etsy

Funny side note: (Well, I thought it was pretty funny)

The other day, at work, a lovely woman kindly came over to my desk to introduce herself. She seemed surprised, and said, “After reading your bio, I assumed you were an older woman!”  I laughed, and was pretty confused… and then I reread my “bio” (fun facts sort of thing):

“Caroline Aaron, our new email and print production assistant for the marketing and communications team, is a huge music buff, and she has the vinyl record collection to prove it. She mostly collects the records of Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and various jazz artists… She loves antique furniture and jewelry, classic films…”

HAHA, I actually sound like an elderly woman when put into writing.  Definitely 23 going on 80.
Not ashamed.

Wishlist Wednesday: Woodsy & Refined

Bark Decor tank from Etsy, Regan’s Brain pillows from Etsy,  Kate Spade heelsWoodcut print by Bryan Nash Gill, Kate Spade daisy studs

I adore both woodsy & whimsical styles, as well as classic & polished.

I would love to wear the heels and daisy studs with a charcoal grey dress to work; and hang out on the weekend with that tank, some feather earrings, and cuddle up with those pillows! (Cuddle partaaay!)

Looking forward to a relaxing weekend, and seeing Blitzen Trapper on Sunday!
What do you have planned for the weekend?!

Wishlist Wednesday: Sparkle and Flow

I suggest listening to this song while looking at this post (and at all times):

I have been really into pretty, flowy things lately… especially when there is a tasteful dose of sparkle to go along with it!

From top to bottom: Free People sparkle maxi, Pretty painting by Autumn Rose on Etsy, Modcloth flowy dress, Anthropologie cobalt necklaceASOS sequined top dress, ASOS sequined cutout dress, Amethyst rings by Native Hearts on Etsy

What trends are you liking these days?

First Etsy Sale!

I have had some pretty tough personal stuff going on recently, and have been pretty down and sad…

SO, when I was notified about having sold my FIRST handmade item on Etsy, I was SO excited!

I sold one of my silly little pocket mirrors, which someone had purchased for a friend!

Stay tuned to see what I have been working on the past few months! … I am launching my handmade stationery business this summer!

The goods will be sold in small boutiques, as well as online.  I am so, so excited to share the final works with you all!

Etsy shop is officially open!

My Etsy shop is (finally) up and running!
I have had so much fun making things these days, and I am so excited to be selling them in my shop!

These decorative wooden frames are a sample of what can be found in the shop!

All items purchased from my shop will be wrapped like so!

Check out Caroline Aaron Design here!

Thanks for taking a look! xo
